Visited today and it looks like something is going on at thenold
Penguin enclosure as it’s fenced off along with the path that runs down the side of the stream to the ice cream shop.

I got talking to some of the zoo keepers and workers and they said it’s just a Aviary replacing the former home of the Tamarin monkeys and it should be open in a couple of months. I asked about the penguins and they said that will be for the 2021 season as the budget for next season has been set a side for the main theme park.

The first two things (vivariums?) in the reptile house were stripped out today.
From what I saw could be enclosure improvements/refurbishments or some total new inhabitants coming in.
(For some reason I forgot I took a photo of that when I was on the park... I was distracted by the really tiny frogs and children in there who were sharing some snake facts to me)

The Macaw parrots are not in their enclosure right now but the palm cockatoos have taken their place.

At the back of the zoo the back section is not accessible at the moment. This may be some upcoming changes and developments.
Terence as a result remains closed. We believe there are still animals up here.

I know the zoo side of the park really hasn’t had much spent on it since the looping group took over.
This is unfortunate but true, I'm still shocked they did those Zoo Only Days, from anyone that has ever been to any, is there many people there or is it quiet?

Well sort of both. The park is very quiet as there isn't the hustle and bustle and noise of the main park. But the zoo is about the same as it is during a normal park day.

I like the zoo only days, its a nice walk and there actually isn't the pull of the park, you can enjoy the zoo for what it is. I am glad they do them.
