This is a lovely attraction with great models from the Thomas franchise. This was announced in 2009 by HIT Entertainment, it contains models from the live-action show before it was transferred to CG animations. The exhibit opened in July 2009 and there are many different props from the show on display - models on operation are Thomas, Edward and Rosie. It is great that the park is home to such exclusive models.

Does anybody else explore the Thomas & Friends Exhibition? What are your opinions on the attraction?

Always hard to drag the little ones out of this area, . Would be nice to see other engines in operation though. I’m aware something happened to Diesel but does the park have any other of the models?

It does seem to be very popular! Especially amongst Thomas fans too!

I agree regarding the models, maybe all they’ve been given is what they have out? I’d love to see some more too though.

The exhibition is currently having work done to with new sets and trains. Rosie been hit and miss for a while and Edward has been removed but Thomas is still there with new friends

And the signage looks great. But it is a little disappointing that there has only been the one train trundling around for some time.

I know that some kids have spent many long hours in there (I used to bring a book!) but since it has reopened there have been a fair few parties that have walked round and not even realised that there were active model trains (well train) on the track.

I disappeared down a rabbit hole on twitter a week or so back. Some Thomas fundamentalists were complaining about how DMR was treating the models.

They seemed to think that they should be treated as museum pieces as opposed to "working models". There was a lot of angst and gnashing of teeth.

I wouldn't mind if the orignals were behind glass. I don't think the kids that come to see them care if they are the actual models or not, but it would be good to have a good load of trains trundling about.
