After the 2020 flooding they installed better drainage so if it rains a lot they send the water to the main lake which can be easily pumped from but if it’s over night the rain there’s nothing the park can do as only zoo staff our there to keep a eye on the animals.
The amount of damage that flood did in the main park and Zoo end was bad and didn’t help it was Feb half term they lost so much revenue. They managed to get the park reopened for the Thomas Weekends and then Lockdown came.

I think it's most likely going back in it's old area as there isn't much space else left in Thomas Land unless they extended it even more which would be difficult and pointless seeming as there is already an existing area for them to use.
