River Rapids

There must be major problems with the rapids as I didn’t think the wave swinger would have opened before this. It still looks a building site.

Yeh very strange as so much happened so quickly and then it’s all suddenly slowed down. Also opening Waveswinger before the play area is odd considering how early that went up. I imagine they’ve found it harder to complete everything than they thought.

Being open every day now obviously affects how much they can get done, I’m sure they’d have hoped to have more finished by now.
 
i think there is some problems happening on the river rapids because they have removed it completely off of the adventure cove page other than all of the concept work on the top of it and i wonder what has happened because they have removed the wave information for all of the attractions opening too

Not a good sign. I can't help but think the original plan must have been for the whole area to be open by the start of the summer.

they did originally say when the area was announced it is set to open in waves and i would have thought that it would have all opened too until i saw that, but obviously not and it isnt a good sign because anything could have happened and something may have gone wrong, so we will just have to wait and see
 
Maybe they’ve encountered a problem which needs a specific part to fix it or something?
 
I have a bit of a feeling that this ride may not open for a while or a while after the planned opening date the park may have set
 
I imagine the announcement is the full opening of Waveswinger and Tidal Towers which all looks complete now from looking at the video, paths and all.
 
Very interesting. I wonder what’s going on over there… something doesn’t add up.
 
It is great to get a new attraction open, but feels like a bit of a let down in truth. No real fanfare and no mention of the main ride. I appreciate they want to get a ride open if ready but doesn't seem to have the punch it deserves when essentially just a wave swinger and play park opening.
