What's new

2026: General Discussion

I think the most likely scenario is that they've not decided what they want to do with Haunting yet. If a retheme was on the cards i think they would've started already as the cartoon network buildings retheme were started at a similar timeframe, but as @_tyl35 said nothing has happened at all (exterior wise) which i was slightly disappointed with. I still hope getting the ivy off the facade is a priority for them, its one of the best facades in the UK hidden under there imo.

I'd say they need to finish the buildings on Frontier Falls / Haunting Exit building before anything else. Its a really strange dead spot for both Frontier & Haunting. Properly close off the Frontier project and lead into some Haunting reworks - thats what I would do if I was in that position of choice
(I do not work nor speak for the company, this is just what I would do)

We're not getting any new rides, but maybe some new landscaping?

I went to Coventry earlier this year and saw this.

It's rather pretty, and relatively affordable.

There's a spot in the park that has become quite, erm, how can I put this? (a bit poo?) It's very quiet and there's often certain types that take advantage of quiet places.

On a quiet day, I saw a woman walking around with a Camberwell Carrot that I could smell from 30 feet away! She was brazenly walking around with it, hanging out of her gob - No care whatsoever. That has to change.

This is the part of the park that needs a revamp. (pic from google)

Back in the day this was a prime picnic spot. Maybe it could be again? The fountain(s) could be a focal point whilst eating lunch, and on Summer days we could walk through it to keep cool? These new fangled fountains are underground, so it wouldn't affect vehicle access through that part of the park.

Just an idea.

:)
