Knapford and Tidmouth Halt Stations

This is a old picture from Drayton talk of knatfords side wall witch still looks like this now. my mates didn't want to go in it in case it fell down lol

It will never fall down. The building is a steel structure. This is just brick effect cladding so to speak. Underneath that cladding will be an load bearing i-beam that supports the structure. This is a core concept of theme parks! Smoke and mirrors to get the desired effect, without being the actual thing.

If there was a risk of collapse (there is not even a tiny chance) they would not have it open to guests.

You can clearly see in the photo, it is not actual stone, it is cladding. Why is it done like this? Money.
It is far cheaper to build a steel framed structure and clad it in fake stone than it is to build it out of actual stone.
