I spoke to staff and it is more than likely gonna be operational with 1 train for the rest of the season. Then I think it won’t be available to the start of the main season so they can get it back to 2 train operation and add maybe more kicker wheels so if it stalls again they can easily get it back to the launch or lift hill.
Gold Rush currently shut, loud popping noise came from just after the breaks at about 3pm after a train went over. Maintenance are working on it as I speak.
Was thinking cause it’s only on 1 train and with the queues your only really gonna get on the ride once or if your lucky twice in a day could they bring back the Random choice now as I not done cycle 1 this year.
The sound bar under the Video Screen is STILL muted! Been that way for more than 2 weeks. KInda ruins the experience. They're now piping the sound from the queuing area into the entrance to the station.
That could be fixed in 2 minutes if Drayton Manor employed more (or a) supervisor!
Never noticed this before but Gold Rush was very jolty today going over every kicker wheel, really bad. Has anyone else noticed that lately? Also, how long has it been on one train now, surely should be fixed by now.

It was the end of May the 2nd train was removed from the track. Staff did say it won’t be to at least next season we see 2 train operation again. After the main season finishes on the 2nd November they got 5 months to sort out the ride problems.
As for the kicker wheels was it raining at the time as they could be used to help the train in wet conditions.
Well before the rain, quite early in the day. I’d say we were on pretty much a middle of the ride seat. It was awful, jolty and a loud knocking noise over every wheel throughout the layout. Didn’t get to go on again but defiantly something wrong with it.

It did breakdown at the end of the day but instead of calling maintenance they just emptied the queue and shut the ride as they had rules that all queue lines had to be cleaned by 8:45 and it was roughly 8:25 I heard the announcement.
