I know Drayton used to operate a swimming pool as my mom and dad keep talking about this. Does anyone know the year it closed or the reasons behind this? I would love to discover archive photos of this.

Honestly no idea. I feel like Drayton could benefit from some form of water attraction rather than the actual water rides. Wasn't there plans to make a splash pad in Adventure Cove? Maybe this could be a future development, taking up part of that empty grass area where GForce's station used to be.

There were plans for a water park by the hotel, but I believe it was on green belt land. I have lived down the road but don't remember a pool
