Pirate Adventure Area

Hi, does anyone think the pirates area had been a bit forgotten at Drayton Manor, yes the rides are good, but do you think Pirate Adventure might return at Drayton Manor, or the whole area themed and refreshed, or something to replace Pirate Adventure? What are your thoughts?

I think the area is next for redevelopment Jolly Buccaneer has received a refurb this year with new painted rocks and new fencing. Maybe the colour pallet could be used on the Pirste Adventure Facade and Dogems and fully repair the castle theming in order to do that you would need scaffolding around the building which is why I think they did the temporary wooden structure.

I am hoping something goes into Pirste Adventure building or site people don't reality it but it's an enormous plot of land prime place for redevelopment
 
It is incredibly likely that this will be the next major development area.
Adventure Cove, Vikings & Frontier Falls have all had major overhauls, so it naturally is the sensible choice to consider the Pirates area next.

But, this may not be soon.
Frontier Falls is unfinished still (buildings empty, unfinished themes on Accelerator & even The Haunting to consider)

Then there will likely be a gap before they work on the next major "attraction works" - However work will go into other things (behind the scenes works, unseen and smaller subtle fixes etc)

Give it time, the pirates will see their shine return I am sure.
 
You really need to keep investing in new rides and re-themes are all good for annual pass holders but not for visitors who only go once a year or even a new ride opens. Like Accelerator you could theme the trains, track and the queue line to fit into Frontier Falls but it still the same coaster that was installed 14 years ago.
 
If anything were to be announced then when would it be.

Also if they do anything with that building whilst the park is open enthusiasts will most likely jump straight to its reopening.

Depends when they intend to open said announced thing ;)

can't put a timeline on anything - just a case of waiting and seeing what happens next
 
Like I said many times when I spoke to Shawn TPW he confirmed that something was going on in the building but his not allowed to say what is going on to Victoria Lynn announces something 1st but to keep a eye on the channel for a news/construction update sometime over the summer months. Gold Rush was 1st announced at the start of the August 2023.
 
Tpw today did a channel video and again suggested something is coming in 2026 at the Manor. I think we are all hopeful, but I am not convinced on 2026 yet. Hopefully I am wrong.

I’m not sure how many visitors go to the looping group other Park’s but I do think Drayton is the most visited and so far with there late night events and fireworks it’s been a good season so far for Drayton for visitors not ride availably.
Now they can afford to have 1 season without a new ride but not 2 as that’s when you start to lose Annual pass holders and guests hold off visiting again to something new is added.

Gold Rush can hold them for a while as its not even a year old yet
 
I know it’s not a year old but the park is screaming out for a ride that the whole family can enjoy and can have a high amount of guests per hour. As the building already up and they got the 3 chain working that is a good start.
Been indoors it wont take long to build the scenes and I do think it will be a mixture of screens, props and pirates.
