What's new

The Bounty

I think the problem will be sorted over the next 3 months as the problem may need for a crane to be on site to help take the boat off its supports.
The Ride is 18 years old so it’s had a good run with minimum downtime

Well, it's been longer than 3 months - it's now 5!

Surely it shouldn't take this long to find a new motor? The ride is made my Itamin, and the ride is still in production, so there should be plenty of spare parts available.

So, the $64000 question is: why hasn't it been fixed yet?

Maybe the new motor costs that many dollars, and they're waiting 'til next year to see if the profits can cover the cost?

Maybe its been delayed the new part or still being made in the factory depends where it is being made

I do think it’s something that badly gone wrong and they need a crane to lift the whole boat free and as guest services is right by the ride they haven’t been able to repair it. It maybe a easy 2-3 job or they may wait to Jan so they got 2 months to fix.
