Well, Lady is now in the display case at Drayton Manor. They likely put Lady's model on display at Drayton Manor for two things: There is a ride of her called Lady's Carousel, and for both the 20th anniversary of Calling All Engines and the 25th anniversary of Thomas and the Magic Railroad. Since Lady appears in the film as the magical steam engine of the Magic Railroad and appears in Thomas' dream, along with Rusty the narrow gauge diesel in Calling All Engines, and was one of the characters seen in Thomas and the Magic Railroad and Calling All Engines, along with Diesel 10, the evil diesel engine with the claw.
There was a major design flaw in the exhibition, the interactive element with the button press was just too flimsy for the kids that were going to press it. You needed either heavy duty buttons like you get with security doors or something which lights up to denote it has been pressed and not to press again.
It's a shame because they spent an awfully long time and a lot of effort to move it there. And it can really be an attraction, I am sure I mentioned before but when at its previosu location I used to take a book with me as the little lad would follow the trains around for hours.
I think the simplest fix for the Exhibition would be to have the trains run on a timer, and every 2/3 hours have a staff member from the shop check to make sure all the trains are running and none have derailed.
