I personally don't think it will close whilst there are other areas that could be developed with the pirate area still referred to as main park. I think the focus should be on this area with buffalo being in the future. I can't see a wooden coaster coming. The budget that the park has would mean one new ride would take up several years budget. The park used to have a headline attraction with Shockwave, but Think goldrush has watered this down, but I don't see goldrush as a headline attraction. At risk of sounding like a broken record, pirate adventure mark 2 could be the headline attraction in my opinion.

I think Pirate adventure replacement will be for the 2027 season as they won’t go 3 seasons without any new ride investment.
Then in 2028 it will be a new area or ride for Thomas land for its 20th birthday.
Then the new coaster for the 2030 season.

Maybe we should all wait until February? That's when the annual figures are announced. Profits have fallen for the last 4 years. Maybe 2025 was the year that changed? Fall in profits in 2024 was blamed on the bad weather. 2025 had the best weather ever. We had a 5/6 months of summer weather! They can't use that excuse again. Let's all cross our fingers that profits are up due to the good weather in 2025 
If profits are down again or, god forbid, they've lost money last year, then all talk of new rides are completely pointless.
For reference, their other park, Pleasurehood Hills lost 200k in 2024 - less than a year later they sold it off.

I would have thought income will be up this year, but maybe not profits. Looping group are continuing to invest, so that is a good sign. The investment in Waterworld and the UK offering being Midlands based may be indicative of future plans. The cost base is likely to have increased and this years accounts to be issued before June, but normally in February cover the period until September so the new attractions for Halloween and christmas will be excluded.
I am certain that whilst 2026 may not have a major investment, there are definitely plans ahead for a major investment. There has been quite some investment in the zoo in recent times and this will be costly.

Was talking about the zoo to 1 of the long serving zoo keepers and all the work that’s been to the zoo has been the bare minimum with it been all done in house. I asked about the zoo area where Thomas exhibit just to be and said that’s now used for storage

Or at least take down the meerkat encounter signage which makes it look like somethings there / coming.
I did also ask about that and they said they were gonna run it in 2025’ but they had babies so didn’t want to move them so think it will be part of the 2026 season experience
