This was shut today. It had a fairly hefty bit of machinery / vehicle in the "yard." Not sure how long its out of action for.

I don't see much of a future for Air Race in the park - it doesn't quite fit the target audience as much as other rides in the park.... and I don't quite think it's ever suited Adventure Cove.
One of those jetski style rides like Hydra's Challenge at Legoland would be a good fit for the area and age.

I think the carousel should be moved here and the Flying Dutchman moved to the carousel site so it will be so much easier to theme that area to also include the Arcade and the Bounty and the park areas will be finished off nicely.
From my experience it's one of the most popular rides in the park for under 12s!
90 percent of the peeps in the queue are under the age of 12 - in fact, most are under 10.
That's why I don't ride it very often, I only ride it on quiet days when there's no kids around!
It looks like they waiting for a part to arrive.They won’t want to remove a thill ride out of the park.
Really is not looking good for the ride.

Hoping they upgrade the theming around Air Race it used to be a lot better especially in the tunnel
Must have had major issues, It did operate like a day or 2 Saw it with people riding it on a vlog from April this year!
