Forgot to mention. After the fireworks had finished we were given an encore.

We enjoyed the end of the day water show. I thought it was amazing and it made me feel like I was back at Disney. It’s fantastic to see the park making such a big investment towards entertainment. The only thing that I hated was the literal stampede at the end with people rushing to their cars through vikings. My son got pushed and elbowed a few times with people being thoughtless and down right idiots. Grown men running carrying children on their shoulders. My son was lucky to only have a few bruises the following morning.

Maybe one day Drayton can get back to that Disney style it once had.

Top Tip if there are loads of crowds try heading towards areas like Frontier Falls or Pirates Cove to get out the way of the crowds no point in rushing as the Drayton Manor Car Parks get clogged up

We wasn’t rushing as we was staying on sight but never in all my years of attending late night events did we witness such a thing. I felt bad for the staff trying their hardest. We ended up walking on the grass verge to avoid people.

A good tip when we know it’s gonna be a late finish we always park at the bottom end by the Zoo days entrance as this season they always ended up opening the zoo entrance so we get out straight away. Was home by half 9 on Saturday.
Think they need to install a bandstand so everyone can see the display as I saw roughly 80% of it. My son saw it all as he was on my shoulders and my daughter only 10-15% as everyone was tall in front of her. The fireworks no problem as they in the air.
The only ride we did was the Thomas train.

The only criticism (other than the usual accusations of the show being AI) was how difficult visibility was. Only the front two or three rows could see anything - and you need to be front on for this show.
~200 out of a thousand++ viewers isn’t a great outcome.

Those who could see it said it’s really impressive

We saw lots of these though I suppose because of health and safety they can’t be too high. It was nice to see people standing on the decking that was once home to the shark.
