And a new event for 2026!

Soft play, trains and zoo

We’re open from 10am–3pm on selected weekends this January, offering fantastic value days from just £10 per person.

What’s Included:

  • 45-minute session in Emily’s Indoor Soft Play – perfect for little adventurers
  • Train ride with Thomas, Rosie & Percy – travel through the park to our Zoo
  • Explore our 15-acre Zoo – home to an Andean bear, red pandas, capybaras and many more amazing animals
  • Spencer’s Outdoor Adventure Play – climb, slide and explore in the great outdoors
  • Dino Trail – come face-to-face with prehistoric giants as you discover our dinosaur-themed trail
Refreshments will be available to purchase from the coffee cart located in Emily’s Adventure Play and from Mrs Kyndley’s Café in the Zoo, perfect for warming drinks, snacks and treats during your visit.

Whether you’re looking to burn off winter energy indoors or enjoy fresh-air fun outdoors, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

January has never been so exciting – book your tickets now!
Not too bad when you consider that a Wacky Warehouse is £5 or something for a single hour of play, not including a Zoo, train and other things

February half term seems a little off to me. £24.90 entry fee, with just 3 main rides open? Is this a mistake on the website?

March weekends in Jan and Feb? Fingers crossed this is a glitch......
Give them time, the website will be updated. This isn't the full lineup for halfterm.
Event details will likely be out in a week or so.

Feel like it'll be another Thomas themed event, a shame as I thought Dinosaur Breakout was better personally.

No thrill rides open during February half term. That confirms it then! Ho-hum, see ya'll in March. :-)

Who am I kidding? I haven't been since the 20th of December! I've got withdrawal symptoms! I will most likely pop along during February just to have a nosey.

I live in Brum - so a day out at DM only costs £6 in bus fare! :)

I look at going to the February event for few hours as weather is often not great and very little indoors at the manor. Hopefully they will address the lack of indoor rides in the future aka pirate adventure and maybe others

Think only reason Haunting is not part of the winter lineup is because it is getting a refurbishment for its 30th Year of operation

Maybe but why no sheriff showdown or Blasting barrels?? Think they could do with more indoor attractions if they are to open in winter months

Now for ticket holders who had a ticket for the 3rd and 4th December they should let them have to the beginning of April to use it now as the only reason they booked to go in December was to go on the main rides and like someone has said only 3 of them outside of Thomas land is open and them ticket holders could have been families that is now out growth Thomas land.

i think it would have been a good idea to add blasting barrels to the ride lineup in feb half term, considering the fact it was already dismantled and had started its winter maintenance at the start of december?

Requires more maintenance
I think sheriff showdown needs technology upgrade. I can't see why blasting barrels couldn't open, except for them closing vikings to update finish this area for the main season. A better surface would improve the main walkway.

I do hope sherrifs gets all its screens working again this year as for most of last season there were only 2 cars that had screens working 😭

Do u think for the 2026 season we will see a new 4D movie in the cinema as the reason it’s not been used for the Feb half term event.
I'm sceptical, a number of parks have removed it and recent years has seen more shows. I hope they could do a viking themed film. I imagine its the cost implications of having a film compared to shows for themed events

Yeah Paulton’s park have done great with the dark ride that replaced there 4D cinema but I do feel they don’t know what to do with the theatre as the queue line is been done good for the area but inside really needs to be themed to a saloon.

March weekends (Thomasland plus bounty carousel and jolly bucaneer) and the big restart have been announced for March. Not big events so assume announcement on main season events must be coming.

Tickets on sale soon!

I hope the K Pop concert, which is an hour long (according to the website), is better than the music acts they had during the summer.

I watched Wham, Shania Twain and Taylor Swift last year. Shaina was very good, the others were, erm, (insert naughty word here)

It's got me thinking. There's hundreds of unsigned and very talented music acts in this country. Why not give them a stage to perform on? 30 minutes. That's all. They will do it for free, just to boost their profile and followers on Social Media.

There's a stage that's being underused, especially for adults that visit DM that would like to watch some live music on the stage on a regular basis.

Just an idea. I'll shut up now. lol

If my pass is active, I will go potentially..
But at the moment I am in the dark there as the portal and my pass don't tell me when it expires. Time to email guest services
