I queued 2 and a half hours, got front row, around 7:15 in the dark! And then it got stuck on the lift hill in the pouring rain for 40mins, we had to walk down the lift hill and got zero compensation! They told us it wouldn’t be running again - and then it was running 10mims later with a “full capacity queue”!! Terrible and waste of my only dark ride…

Towers seem to be doing the same deal as Drayton this summer with the return tickets, the only difference being that the AT return ticket lets you visit any of the Merlin parks.

Not sure if this is coincidence or not because I don’t know who did what first…

Coincidence I believe but also a good strategy to get feet through the doors.
Both groups have done well from the deal with an increase in footfall - even on thje bank holiday for Merlin.

Though, we can't compare the repeat visits for Drayton just yet as their returns from Waterfest activate for September.

It's a good move for the parks to do
