hello drayton talk!
i've recently become aware of the animatronic dragon that was used in the "castle of dreams" (formerly the knight before christmas) attraction at drayton manor during christmas. i'm a very longtime fan of animatronics, puppetry, props, etc etc. i stumbled upon the attached photo of the dragon on pinterest and fell in love with the little guy swiftly - he has a lot of my favorite design elements and a very charming little face.
now, the reason i come to this forum is simply for any and all information relating to him! photos, videos, memories from his time at the park, visits to his current location - anything will do. linked below is an imgur album with a few more pictures of him. two are from this very forum (where credit shall be given after the link), another is from a blog website detailing the trip, one is from his auction listing, and the other two are his current refurbished look in his current home.

- knight before christmas was introduced in 2012, seemingly with the dragon included. it was renamed after & the dragon was removed in 2022, set for auction, and bought in 2023. he now resides in hildred's centre in skegness!
- the dragon itself was created by the company kd decoratives, who have a video involving him on their youtube page. the description states the featured attraction was installed in their headquarters in 2004/2005 (... i already forgot), so his existence dates as far back as then. he even used to have a scarf
- what i don't know is this guys name - i've found one article that lists it as harly, but i could be mistaken. i've yet to find footage of his full show and songs, nor have i seen or heard that name elsewhere. trust me, i've scoured dozens of blogs, flickr images, and youtube videos that show even a lick of this attraction...
- i believe ive seen any images of him this site has to offer already, so long as the threads included the words dragon, castle of dreams, etc etc. so i kindly ask for your own personal photos of him!
