What's new

Chicken Diner

I was going to post this on the fish and chips thread - however that's an old thread from 5+ years ago, so I'll post here, if I may?

I've visited DM over 30 times this year. (yes, I know that's a lot, I'll explain why elsewhere)

Almost every visit Chicken Diner is half full. The chippy is always beyond capacity. All the Lake side tables are full. ALL of them, even the surrounding tables, and there's always 20+ people waiting to be served.

Maybe it's time to switch operations? There's clearly more demand for Fish and Chips, so why not put the chippy in the seaside part of the park? AKA Adventure Cove? Surely that makes sense? That part of the park is seaside themed. Fish and Chips in the seaside themed place just makes more sense, No?

Furthermore the Chicken DIner has a larger kitchen which means more space to install the necessary equipment to peel/wash/chip real spuds. Every chippy has them. Raw spuds are cheaper than frozen/precut chips. It's a win win. More profit for DM and better tasting chips for us.

The existing fish and chips place can still be used for the Chicken they sell. They could call it, erm, Chicken Hut?

Lets face it, the stuff the sell in Chicken Diner doesn't need to be eaten in a diner- it's mostly food you can walk around with.

Just an idea.

:)

I also think that when you go to the coast, you go for fish and chips over chicken. Always have chips so it is actually more suited to adventure cove. There are already chicken items in Burger place so between the chicken hut and burger would solve the issue. Great idea
