Is the ride system still their for Excalibur and could it be salvaged

The ride system was removed back in 2012 when it became the knight before Christmas. The route inside was filled in and concreted over and we walk thou what was the indoor section.
If they drained the lake the pulleys are supposed to still be there.
It will never be a ride again as they make so much money from the building at Halloween and Christmas and moving the entrance to near the zoo makes it fell like it’s in its own area when they do retheme Pirate Cove.

it’s such a sorry state that all the themeing was left in, the fact you can still see the old dragon catcher in the lake and cantata inside the castle. It’s sad the way it was left, but it’s a large space to fit some sort of future investment.

It really is, she looked amazing lit up during the halloween event in the castle

I'd love to see a reimagined version of Excalibur, with all the remaining theming restored and animations either fixed or replaced! The story and idea was really original, a parody of the knights of the round table, but with them being the antagonists over the dragons! A really neat idea when taken to the next level. Perhaps they could go easy on the underpants and fart jokes though next time haha.

honestly i think it would be such a good idea to see some sort of return, the actual sets were quite impressive. I love the soundtrack for the ride, but that’s no where to be found nowadays

Where did the queue and exit go for Excalibur

The queue entrance was opposite the now castle bar and the exit was just down towards the lake by the castle as can be seen in photos attached below. The queue and exit as of 2025 now have a roof covering them which was fitted during the transformation to the castle of dreams. The entrance archway stayed for a few years after Excalibur closed and had a new sign for the castle of dreams, before being removed, lots of old queue themeing still exists and it sat in the bushes, such as the dragons tail and some old ride signs.
