I wouldn’t I rather they just focused on the park and the hotel. Unless they included 1 free visit a year for gold annual pass users I wouldn’t pay to visit.
I agree -water parks are added value when there’s not a lot more the core business can improve upon imo.
Still lots to do in the park , and the zoo.. and the hotel can 100% be better utilised
As someone who can't swim, this doesn't appeal to me.
I think they could use a small pool/splashpad for the hotel but I don't think it would be a priority for the park to consider one as the main draw is the themepark.
Originally they wanted to install a splash zone and a family tracked ride as G-Forces replacement. Now that would have been perfect for kids to play in during the warmer months
I think there’s definitely a market for it. Especially if done right. For us we are a family who can swim and we love visiting hotels that have a pool that’s open after park hours. Whilst not essential I do think something like this could work especially an indoor one so you arnt reliant on weather. It would be a great addition for families.
I always thought something smaller (like what’s found at Legoland) would be a good add to the hotel - run it 11-8 or something. Free for hotel guests and small upcharge otherwise.
