Maelstrom is a very safe ride in my opinion and I'd like to know what angle does Maelstrom swing at because Bounty swings at 75, and Pandemonium obviously does 360!!!

Trying to google it others of a similar type seem to suggest 120 but I’m not sure that’s right for maelstrom. Whatever it is it’s enough to make me feel ?

I used to be able to ride it but that and the bounty make me ill now. I’m fine on every other ride!
I'd say Maelstrom, Pandemonium and Apocalypse and Air Race and the Bounty are top5 intense rides in the park! Maybe Shockwave?
Shockwave is intense in the sense that it throws your head about! Saying that though, if you’re right at the front going over the end of the lift hill you can’t see anything in front of you(Car or track) which is pretty intense.
Apocalypse is probably the most intense over Maelstrom and Pandemonium because it's very tense waiting for the drop at the top!!
Apocalypse is another one I can’t ride. Bizarrely I’m fine with vertical drops where your facing forward (like oblivion) but not when your vertical.
In the meantime, has anyone got any photos of maintenance happening on this ride?
Unlike Flamingo Land and Flip Flop!!!
It's good that it's running on maximum swing, and it should stay that way. Maelstrom is in a different league to the likes of Flip Flop at Flamingo Land, Maelstrom is a far superior ride and the park run it in an amazing manner, let alone the theming. They definitely should not tame down or change this ride in any way, it's a proven formula that works. I see lots of families on the ride too, shows that they can keep something like this in a family park - even Paulton's have something similar in their new area.
I still think remodelling Action Park / Fishermans Wharf as one big area could be good - a good balance of thrill (Stormforce, Shockwave), family (Maelstrom, Air Race, Splash Canyon?) and some kids rides to be added where G Force is. You'd have amongst the best family areas in the UK - especially with some good theming. Fun for the whole family.

The ironic thing is on my most recent visit. Maelstrom was closed due to high winds 
. I like the theming round Maelstrom though and it's a brilliant ride!

When the virus is under control and we don’t need to social distance they should have a holding area like at Thorpe Park for Vortex for the right amount of guests needed for the next ride cycle.
