New Access pass

Good evening all i am hoping someone can help please i have seen the new access pass system thats been introduced does anyone know is this a blanket thing for all access pass users please. I ask because my daughter has a SEN pushchair and needs it so what happens after her 10 rides as at paultons park they run the same system Drayton are introducing for access pass users but people in Sen pushchairs and wheelchairs get a wristband so they are able to keep using the exit ques with no restrictions i have also sent the park an email and messages on social media but no response since this morning when I seen the posts we have a few trips booked over the next week starting on Friday so really need an answer if anyone is in park tomorrow could you ask please without access to her pushchair she will bolt šŸ™ˆ its one of the reasons I got her an annual pass for drayton as the access pass worked perfectly for her like at paultons

What has meant to have changed? I’ve heard nothing about 10 rides etc?
You get a card now and can only use it 10 times. The Adventures of Cubs Flip Flops posted about them this morning

Do you know if they done anything different for wheelchair users? What happens when there 10 rides are done is that it for the rest of the day.
I understand the point about wheel chair users but the queue points I can’t imagine changing. With the increase in visitors especially due to all of the cheap park ticket offers that have been circulating, this system is designed to keep things moving. In my experience Drayton have always been inclusive and the girls in guest services are amazing. Unfortunately not all emails are picked up. If you are visiting on Friday, I would ask in guest services for a definitive answer. Also it can take the park a while to respond but I find on X (twitter) they have always been quick to respond. I do think though the park needs to communicate things more clearly; that has always been my gripe especially when they changed the look of Rory. I’m sure the park will be monitoring and reviewing this system so if any changes are not inclusive , I would recommend stopping by guest services and asking to make a complaint about the new system. As with anything, unless people speak up when things don’t work, then things won’t be changed. Though I encourage anyone who does do this to please be respectful for those that work at the park , as these changes are implemented from top management, not the people who are the faces of the park such as ride ops and guest services.

Thanks Charlie. We will see how our day goes

Completely agree the communication has been very poor with this we purchased annual passes because how well the system worked for my daughter so its disappointing to know she might only be able to do 10 rides and thats it we dont go expecting to be sat on a ride all day but it was also nice knowing when she wanted to ride she could safely through the day. I was hoping they might implement the same system as paultons they have a card very similar to drayton but for wheelchair users they have a wristband so can use the exit system throughout the day with no restrictions.

In my experience as a RAP/EAP user for my Son - even on the busiest of days there are odd queues that are 10-15 mins long via main queue (which is often faster then the ā€œlargeā€ rides EAP queues)
Just means we need to assess rides on a case by case basis and only use for those that are truly hell (looking at you The Wave!)

I’ve seen a lot of people misuse the RAP pass - lapping the Wave or Gold Rush whilst it sits on a 40 min queue. A better answer is just to time out RAP for the length of the queue after use - that stops it being seen and used as a free fast pass and doesn’t limit the number of rides beyond a normal day.

On a busy day everyone is unlikely to get on 10 rides.

Completely agree have seen the misuse of rap and now its spoiled it for everyone

I think this is a great system! It worked well back in 2021/2022 so theoretically should work well now!

My only critique is the fact they no longer time you out like the old cards did… I think the system would work better if they wrote a time on the card for your next ride as otherwise the queues are still just as busy!
