They can’t run it with all the carts anymore as the motors have trouble powering it round the track. From my photo from yesterday on the pirate adventure topic the rest of the buffalo has been removed.

Maybe the cars are there as spare in case of a problem or they haven't had time to fit them to the ride before the beginning of the season
There a new exit to the ride now.
They closed off the former exit and put temporary barriers up.

I wonder why they’ve decided to stop using the original exit? It’s great to see small additions to attractions at the park like the queue time signs.
maybe drayton has something planned that hasn't been publicly revealed yet
The queue time signs are most certainly welcomed, especially given the popularity of this attraction - great to see the park thinking to add this. The change of exit seems to be very temporary, perhaps this was due to planned work or to aid throughput on a busy day, or maybe purely for experimenting. I will investigate on my next visit.

Not sure why anyone would want to wait 45 mins for it, but the signs are nice nevertheless. 
As what I’m seeing for the next few years Drayton manor aren’t going to invest anything for a while if the buffalo has been given this much of refurbishment then no way is it leaving
I think they know they not got the funds for a new coaster so can’t afford to lose another coaster from the line up.
I don’t care what people say about the old girl she’s still pulling in the queues.
this is one of the oldest rides at the park I don't think Drayton manor can afford to lose another ride from the park
I'm glad to see drayton have spent some money on this ride and refurbished it to its current state I hope they do the same to g force
It looks like there Boxing in the station building unless it’s just there so they can work on the train in the station.
