The Haunting

Maybe it's time for a rebranding of this attraction?

I'm thinking Peaky Blinders. That's very popular right now, but no-one seems to be taking advantage of it.

Steven Kinght is a Brummie, and I'm sure if this ever happened he'd favour it being in the closest park to Brum!

How would it work? - Enter the ride as usual, watch a short video of Killian Murphy warning us of what's to come. We then walk slowly through the narrow corridor whilst being blasted by sounds of guns and bombs going off. We eventually emerge in the holding area and watch another video of the aftermath of the war and how he became the top dog of Brum! We then walk through to the last part of the ride.

I'm not sure what happens for the final part...Maybe ask Steven Knight? He's quite good at the final act of a story!

Anyways, just an idea.

:D

Peaky Blinders would work really at Thorpe park only as it’s rated as 15+.
Yeah, I get that. The thing is, the ride as it is just isn't scary. :(

I've been on it several times - when leaving the ride the peeps infront are laughing and remarking that it just wasn't scary. The people behind (sometimes with younger kids) are just walking away scratching their heads and asking why wasn't it scary?!

These types of rides are meant to be scary. (I remember the original ride that was on that plot of land - (Snake Train - THAT WAS SCARY!) :-D

If young kids aren't scared, and older kids are just laughing (for the wrong reasons) then maybe the ride needs changing?

:)

You must have had a different experience as usually by the time we entered the mad house bit lots of families with young kids have already left the ride.
The mad house bit needs the most work doing to it as we just walked straight though without riding.
