2025: General Discussion

We noticed these cute magnets today and of course we had to get one for the fridge . Not a bad price considering the quality of them however for a family themed attraction, it felt out of place seeing named Beer coasters in Rory’s souvenirs next to the kids toys.

They have now added flowers in the barrels by the frontier falls entrance which looks a lot better now that they have fixed the wood it only needs painting and the photo area for Rory will be the best it's ever looked. The screens round the park are now working with a believe a new one on the chicken diner wall as well as other by guest services both are working too just the one by guest services needs painting.1000008217.jpg

There’s one in Sodor Airport i don’t know if it’s new or not but yeah there is a new screen.

And they’re pretty understaffed. You could argue to put cctv up and have someone remotely updating
Then you'd need someone able to sit, look at CCTV and work out queues from queue markers - another staff to require (if not more as I believe there are CCTV rules at parks to who can watch / how long etc)

At Disney, they give a random person a queue token that helps them monitor how long the queues are. However the difference is that at Disney , they have someone on the entry on most rides. In the uk it’s not really something that’s possible.

Think the main thing is that the staff need to keep to schedule and update it, but for various reasons that may not be happening

Yesterday for operations and timings were awful for the final summer late night fireworks.
Yes we didn’t get into the park to 6:45 and yes it was raining but a lot of cars had already left with Thomas land closing at 6pm

Stormforce 10 had also closed at 6pm so we decided to go for something to eat at chicken diner was very nice.
Anyway but the time we eaten and had a look round the shop (they got up to 50% off and with my annual pass discount brought theses for £3.59

Anyway by the time we ate River rapids and the Wave queue line had closed so we made our way down to Frontier falls to go on the Haunting(will post that update there) anyway by the time we got off it had just gone 8 and all the frontier falls queue lines were closed can understand with the coasters if they want to get them clear for the fireworks but could have kept the others open to half 8.
As we were leaving Frontier falls noticed the new queue line ride sign.

Wonder if that will go into every area.
We tried to get into the Vikings area but staff were at the entrance telling guests the area was now closed and they were also by the entrance of Adventure Cove which only left the pirate cove area open to 9pm which was stupid as it was raining so many unhappy guests.
Then the free for all at the end was stupid like in the Bryan’s days after the fireworks they still had food places open but no everything but the toilets was closed so everyone left all at the same time and for a while nothing was moving so we sat in the car in a pitch black car park none of the lighting was switched on outside the park. We left at 9:45 and a car had broken down in the middle exit barrier so that was part of the problem.
The fireworks were good and so must better in the complete darkness.
