I think the only way it’s moving is out the park. If you remember it was added in the park before even the Buffalo arrived.

Maybe it’s something to do with the nature of the ride that makes it unsuitable for cold conditions. Either way I think Drayton have the best ride lineup for Christmas and February Half Term out of all of the UK theme parks.
This. The maintenance on Flying Dutchman is great, it looks great and they really have done a great job looking after it. Really good job done by Drayton Manor here.

Does anyone think it will be affected by the floods?
I don't think so - I think its anything lake and lower that was mainly hit

If the substation next to it got flooded then the park will have big problems.

It’s been a very popular ride since the park reopened with the queue been full all the time but you still only got to wait for 1 circle max.

Can’t understand why they only loading the boats on the side as it’s not really a ride with social distancing needed for.
There's 7 operational ones I believe, with 12 produced in total. I may be wrong though.

It’s now the 2nd oldest ride on the park now. The park really looked after it. I think it needs some of it’s theming back that was removed about 20 years ago
what theming did it used to have?

There was some pieces of theming above the control room and there was a pirate in the crows nest looking out his telescope

I hope the ride not gonna be down for a long time. I got to the park around half 1 and they were working on it and then was closed for the rest of the day.

It’s currently been repainted and the cables replaced
Hopefully they'll keep the Flying Dutchman for a long time to come, it's still a good ride and seems really reliable, it doesn't seem to have much downtime.
I am surprised though it's still in it's current location, it seems like it would fit in better with the bounty and the pirate boats.
