Had 4 rides yesterday, was really nice getting to see the newly cutback ivy and all the effects were working on the ride as usual.
It was also the rides 29th Birthday so Happy late Birthday The Haunting!.
Some things worth talking about was that the attendant and op were clearly having a laugh during most of the experience, i don't mind this as long as it doesn't effect enjoyment and immersion of the ride but when you start shouting and talking over the preshow's and talking on the mic during the madhouse it gets a bit too much and ruins first impressions. I've never seen anything like it.
The mechanism for Agatha was making some abhorrent sounds during my final ride it was genuinely concerning i think they need to order some WD40!, before the coffin opened it sounded as if it already started moving but bouncing back down (imagine screeching sounds, very hard to describe sorry!) when it opened the sounds were a lot louder and stopped when it shut. No idea if its a common problem.
The projector for the portrait needs a little adjusting as you can see the edge of the media that's being played, once you see it you cant miss it unfortunately and the head of the lady is being cut off slightly, i did spot it earlier this year but its gotten worse as of recent.
Anyways i took some more detailed photos of the new work that's happened which ill share below.

Clearing of this area looks really nice! clearer views of the facade too, hope the back wall in the background gets some clearing done to it.

This is to the right of the trailer before you walk in for those unfamiliar this hasn't been properly seen in a long time!, this also shows the extent of the ivy growing on the facade, its even growing underneath the wood covering the windows! i did unfortunately spot some places where holes are.

Again for those unfamilar this is just before you enter the empty shop / supposed planned restaurant, this will be a really nice view if they continue to remove the ivy and hopefully the thinner but taller trees that have been growing for a long long time.

Looks like the lorry driver was a little hot in this heat that they've had to roll the window down for some breeze!.
