Couple of weeks ago I asked and they said they were waiting for parts to arrive to fix the seats. Some of them keep locking as well, I went last week and got stuck in one seat and had to be rescued from it by the techniciansEven with a time slot, it was painful today. Only 11 seats, with 4 or 5 to the RAP queue so the main queue moved 6 people a cycle.
At this point, probably better to close until it’s fixed.
Anyone know what’s wrong with it? Something with the restraints?
I suspect they've replcaed /upgraded (or retro fitted the new energy recovery thing) to the main mechanism? There was a great big cherry picker next to the ride a few weeks ago.Even with a time slot, it was painful today. Only 11 seats, with 4 or 5 to the RAP queue so the main queue moved 6 people a cycle.

attendant told me it was a problem with the seats and the stuff going on in iran is preventing the parts reaching this country.I suspect they've replcaed /upgraded (or retro fitted the new energy recovery thing) to the main mechanism? Maybe they're running in the new thing? New motors/engines on old rides need to be run in...
There's a new Gyroswing about to open in Blackpool soon - maybe DM are doing an upgrade to try and stay competitive?
to me even though low height requirement the wave still is a thrill coaster due to its multiple inversionsThe last of the thrill rides in the park when this and Air race do it with will be classed as a theme park for young families.
