2025: General Discussion

The park in general is been very busy this season with the main car park full and they even filled the car park that’s usually used for the zoo but having rides closed, keep breaking down and long lines I very much doubt many of them will return. At least they decided to stay open to 6pm yesterday
 
The UK Themepark awards nominations list has now been revealed for this year.

Drayton appear multiple times on the awards including nominations for the Rory decades show.

Interesting to see what has been nominated from the park. Also interesting to see which which categories the park hasn't received a nomination in. hmmmm....

I did a bit of research as to who is behind these things and came across the pages on the judges. Maybe we could think of some alternative categories like, "Which UK Themepark awards judge would you least like to be stuck behind in an hour long coaster queue" or "Park with the most gratitous touting of fast pass" or "Best dealing with queue jumping"
 
"Park with most abandoned rides in its lifetime" and "Worst attempt at hiding AI usage" awards when?, not saying anything else but the park that has hosted the awards for the past 2 years has won Theme Park of the year 👀
